Terms & Conditions – Villa Delfini, Agios Georgios Pagon, Corfu

Whereas

The GUEST acts on behalf of and assumes responsibility for all members of the visiting group. The GUEST assures that all members of the visiting group are aware of, bound to, and will adhere to this AGREEMENT.

Any payments received by VILLA DELFINI for occupancy of the PROPERTY confirm the acceptance of the terms and conditions of this AGREEMENT. It is the responsibility of the GUEST to be familiar with all policies within this AGREEMENT.

1. Reservations, Booking and Contract Signing

The GUEST confirms with the Reservation that they have read, understood, and accepted this AGREEMENT.

Reservations are not considered "guaranteed" until the advance Booking Payment of €200 is received by VILLA DELFINI. Booking confirmation will be emailed to the GUEST upon receipt of the Booking Payment and acceptance of this AGREEMENT.

Security / Damage Deposit of €200 (original Booking Payment to be returned after departure)

Payments can be made by bank transfer (Revolut) in favour of VILLA DELFINI (Revolut code https://revolut.me/boltondrew) or by Stripe on our website.

3. Cancellations

• Up until 1 month prior to arrival; full refund apart from €200 Booking Deposit

• Up until 7 days prior to arrival; 50% refund

• After 7 days prior to arrival; no refund

4. Security / Damage Deposit

As a Security / Damage deposit the €200 booking deposit will be retained until after check out / inspection by the cleaning team.

This security deposit will be returned within one week of check out, provided proper check-out procedures are followed, and there is no breakage or damage to the PROPERTY.

5. Refund Policy

Although the PROPERTY is in excellent condition, VILLA DELFINI cannot guarantee against failure of heating, air conditioning, WLAN, TVs, Satellite Receivers, games consoles, or other appliances. Please report any inoperative equipment to our contact person immediately. VILLA DELFINI will make every reasonable effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. No refunds or rent reductions will be made due to failure of appliances or equipment.

6. Entitled GUEST

The PROPERTY rents to families and couples. Guests under the age of 21 unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian will not be permitted to register and will lose all funds paid to VILLA DELFINI.

At all times, the maximum occupancy is the number the home sleeps, including infants ( a total of 10 persons ).

Any reservations made under false pretences may result in loss of payments and possible removal of GUEST from rental unit. No Fraternities, no sororities, no stag parties, no excessive parties involving external visitors.

7. Listings and Pricing

Information regarding individual listings is believed accurate but cannot be guaranteed. We have made every effort to ensure that all the information on VILLA DELFINI's website/ Facebook page/ AirBnb listing is current and accurate. Rates, fees, and taxes are subject to change without notice. Such changes do not affect existing bookings.

8. Check In / Check Out Timings

Check-In time is after 4pm, / check out is prior to 10 am. Early check in or late check may be possible depending on vacancy without extra charge. Please ask about early check in/out well in advance.

No refunds for early departures (less days than reserved) ~ No refunds will be given for delayed arrival ~ No refunds for reducing the number of nights reserved, unless requested three months prior to arrival (as per cancellation terms above).

On arrival at PROPERTY the GUEST will access the keys from the key box on the wall by the front door to the villa. Code will be provided on day of arrival. Enclosed is a key for the front door and a key for the annexe door. Lost keys will be charged at a rate of €20 per key. At check out the keys must be returned to the key box prior to departure. The local agent (George Fakiolas or representative) will aim to be available for check in and out.

9. External Visitors

No Overnight stays from external visitors. Any external day visitor to the PROPERTY is the sole responsibility of GUEST.

10. Items provided by VILLA DELFINI ­

VILLA DELFINI provides bed linen and towels including towels for sun beds. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property.

VILLA DELFINI will provide initial supplies only (toilet paper, shampoo and soap, water, pepper and salt). There may be dry goods left from previous guests that the GUEST can use at their discretion.

11. Furnishings and Appliances

Only use appliances for their intended uses.

Furnishings are subject to change without notice. Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, utensils or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be taken out or transferred from one location to another. Relocation or loss of these items, as well as damage to the PROPERTY or its furnishings in excess of normal wear, will be charged to the GUEST.

12. Washing Machine

This is available for GUEST use. Washing tablets/powder may be left by previous guests, but a supply is not guaranteed.

13. BBQ

A built in charcoal grill is found on the north side of the property. This is for GUEST use and should be left in a tidy state. Charcoal is not supplied, but past guests may have left some in storage area below.

15. Fireplace and Firewood

Usage of Fireplace: PROPERTY is not provided with firewood. The fireplace is not currently operational.

16. Night Silence

GUEST should not create excessive noise at a level that may disturb neighbours between 10:00p.m. – 08:00a.m.

17. Locked Areas

GUEST will not be provided a key or codes for VILLA DELFINI personal storage spaces. Any attempt to enter locked areas is cause for immediate termination of this AGREEMENT, forfeiture of all monies paid, and GUEST will be liable for any damage and/or missing items.

18. Smoking

Smoking is allowed outside only with extinguished butts disposed of safely.

19. Pool Safety

GUEST must observe appropriate safety precautions around the pool, including but not limited to; supervision of children at all times, not swimming under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not diving into the shallow end. No glassware should be used around the immediate pool area. Plastic glasses are provided in the kitchen cupboards. If broken glass enters the pool the GUEST must inform VILLA DELFINI immediately so that pool can be inspected for safety by a specialist. If drainage of the pool is required the GUEST will be held accountable for the cost of refilling.

20. Sanitary pipework

The WC drainage pipes cannot handle large quantities of toilet paper. As in most of Greece, large quantities should be disposed of in the bin by the WC. Nothing other than very limited quantities of toilet paper should be disposed of in the WC. No sanitary products, wipes or cotton buds etc. If a blockage occurs to the sanitary pipework during the period of occupation, the GUEST will be liable for the cost of a professional to unblock the system, if said professional determines that the blockage is due to improper use by the GUEST.

21. Housekeeping and final cleaning

Neither daily housekeeping service nor daily maid service is included in the rental rate.

At checkout PROPERTY should be left in clean, swept condition. Any undue or unreasonable cleaning necessary as a result of the vacationer’s stay will result in a cleaning charge assessment of €15 per hour.

22. Defects

VILLA DELFINI attempts to properly maintain the PROPERTY. Any unsafe or dangerous condition must be reported to VILLA DELFINI or their representative immediately. GUEST acknowledges that the use of the property including all facilities, equipment and installations is entirely at GUEST’s risk.

GUEST shall allow VILLA DELFINI or their representative to access the property for purposes of repair after prior coordination with the GUEST.

23. Lost and Found

Neither VILLA DELFINI nor the property owner will be responsible for GUEST’s personal property left behind or lost during stay. If VILLA DELFINI is able to find an item left behind VILLA DELFINI is willing to ship it to the GUEST upon request. Shipping charges will be charged to the GUEST.

24. Violation of Agreement

If GUEST violates any of the conditions of this Agreement, VILLA DELFINI may terminate this Agreement and enter the PROPERTY. Upon notice of termination of this Agreement, GUEST shall vacate the Premises immediately and forfeit all rents and security deposits. GUEST is liability towards VILLA DELFINI for all incurred direct and indirect costs, including costs of litigation, attorneys, expenses, etc., resulting from the breach of the contract, based on bills plus a surcharge of 20%.

25. Force Majeure

Neither Owner nor VILLA DELFINI shall be liable for events beyond their control which may interfere with GUEST’s occupancy, including, but not limited to, acts of governmental agencies, fire, strikes, war, power cuts or inclement weather.

26. Damages

GUEST shall keep the property and all furnishings in good order at all times. GUEST(s) agree to indemnify and hold harmless VILLA DELFINI for any damage related to GUEST’s use and occupancy of the PROPERTY, including but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injury or damage or theft of property which is made, incurred or sustained by the GUEST.

27. Inconveniences

VILLA DELFINI is not responsible for any inconveniences that may occur for which VILLA DELFINI have no control. This includes, but is not limited to: power outages, adverse weather conditions, mandatory evacuation, construction, mechanical failure such as pool, television, etc. No refunds will be given for occurrences beyond VILLA DELFINI’s reasonable control.

28. Disclaimer

VILLA DELFINI is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the PROPERTY or its facilities. VILLA DELFINI is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the GUEST. It is agreed that GUEST is expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises, or others whom they invite to use the premise.

GUEST shall indemnify and save harmless VILLA DELFINI against and from any and all expenses, costs, damages, suits, actions or liabilities arising from any and all loss of or damage to personal property, injury or death resulting from the use of the rental property, grounds or pool.

29. Applicable Law

Greek law applies. Place of Jurisdiction is Corfu, Greece.
